Valr. His
obligations to the family were few as long as his older brother remained
among the living. But his obligations to his Noble birth were much more
complex. Since he had few worries about inheriting his fathers title and lands he was able to choose which path his life would follow. From a very early age it was obvious that path would lead him to knighthood. Once he was of suitable age his father sent him to the best War Colleges Aquilonia had to offer. After graduating at the top of his class, Valr immediately was awarded a commission in the Black Legion. As the years passed he quickly gained
Knowledge and experience in the grim arts of making War.
In the fifth year of his service news from home reached him about a
great
family tragedy. Not only was his father on his death bed but his
brother
had failed to return from his sojourn to Scandaga in the Westermarck
province of Conawaga to visit with his wife's brother who is the
garrison
